43 Athletes Advance to The American Rodeo Championship Weekend from East Regional in Lexington – All One Step Closer to Competing for $2 Million
LEXINGTON, KY – As three days of top-tier western sports action at The American Rodeo East Regional came to a close inside Kentucky Horse Park’s Alltech Arena on Saturday night, the Top 5 athletes in each discipline immediately punched their ticket to advance to The American Rodeo Championship weekend.
Held at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas – the championship weekend, May 22-23, is the final step in their journey toward a potential life-changing $2 million bonus.

Fans still have the opportunity to cheer on other dedicated Qualifiers in addition to professional athletes that fell outside of the Top 5 (No. 6-20) in the standings, as they put it all on the line at the remaining Central Regional event being held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma April 17-18 and the West Regional in Las Vegas, Nevada May 1-2.
