RODEO COMMUNITY RALLIES IN SUPPORT OF LEVI WRIGHT AND THE WRIGHT FAMILY

On May 21, 2024, little Levi “Beans” Wright, the son of PRCA saddle bronc rider Spencer and his wife Kallie Wright, was involved in a life-threatening incident while trying to cross a creek with his toy tractor near the couple’s home in Milford, Utah. Levi was found and transported by life flight from the hospital in Beaver, Utah, to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City.

In the wake of this tragedy, a number efforts have been speerheaded by those in the rodeo community to help support the Wright family. Fifty-five items and growing have been donated to The Levi Wright Benefit Auction & Updates page as of May 24. Auction items include stallion services to some of the leading equines in the Western industry, plus a host of other high value items. Additionally, the Wright Family Benefit Barrel Race and Silent Auction has been planned for Sunday, June 30, 2024, at the Bastian Ag Center in South Jordan, Utah. The barrel race has $4,000 added. In an update from Kallie on May, 23, she reported that Levi’s condition is better than the initial prognosis. Encouraged by love, prayer and support from family, friends, and the rodeo community at large, Kallie posted:

“LEVI WOKE UP! I am shook. We don’t know much, but the doctor said it was okay for me to get excited about that, and I AM! My baby is so tough! He got a little wild, so we had to settle him down again. But my heart!”
